Eric Hsu Makes the Move to COBB Tuning

MotoIQ's very own Engineering Editor, Eric Hsu, made the move from Product Development Manager at Cosworth LLC in July 2012 to start a new position as Product Development Specialist at COBB Tuning based in Austin, Texas. COBB Tuning is a provider of performance products and complete performance solutions to the street performance and racing industries. Best known for its line of AccessPORT ECU reprogramming and tuning products, COBB is also growing its hard parts division to expand current offerings of complete performance solutions for newer applications such as BMW turbo vehicles and the new generation Ford Focus ST. Trey Cobb, Founder and CEO of COBB Tuning, says, “It's very exciting to have Eric join the team. His product development experience will help us to expand our product line while his engine calibration experience will also allow COBB to expand customer training to overseas regions for the Access Tuner Pro software package as we expand our overseas customer base.”
Eric will be based out of the remote COBB Tuning offices located at the COBB Tuning Socal retail store location in Fountain Valley, CA. Eric says about his new position, “There's nothing like being part of a growing business where your core competencies can be utilized. Plus I'm surrounded by some of the smartest people in the business who can break 512 bit ECU encryption algorithms over lunch. It's an incredible team of people to work with. Now I need to deliver just like those guys do.”
