Fortune Auto would like to introduce their new Concave Flow Digressive Piston Technology that will be offered in the 510 Series and Dreadnought PRO line starting July 1st, 2015. After countless hours of research and development with each independent application, they have thoroughly optimized the CFD Piston for maximum adjustability.
The ultra wide range of adjustment offered by the CFD piston™ allows for the convenience of tuning your suspension without having to revalve your dampers. A conventional shock absorber can withstand a 2kg spring rate difference before requiring a revalve, whereas the Concave Flow Digressive Technology™ has a broad range of 8kg spring rates. This is invaluable for tuning your suspension quickly at the track on race day.
The Concave Flow Digressive Piston™ also allows for a Jekyll and Hyde personality. Lower spring rates can be stiffened up by using the wide damping range as an artificial spring rate, while higher spring rates feel much smoother. The large adjustment range contributes to a comfortable ride on the street and unyielding performance on the track, all with the twist of a single adjustment knob.

Dreadnought PRO 2-Way Canister
Fortune Auto's new remote canister system has been completely redesigned and CNC’d out of billet in the USA. The remote canisters incorporate a digressive floating piston (base valve) that has its own independent shim stack and jetting mechanism. These features provide for a very wide range of adjustment in low speed and high speed compression. The new canister is also larger in size, allowing for greater shock fluid and nitrogen capacity. The increased fluid capacity allows for more consistent operation over a wide range of temperatures. When compared to conventionally designed shocks, the increase in gas volume and the subsequent decrease of pressure in our Dreadnought PRO dampers delivers a more consistent performance over the service life of our shock absorbers. The canisters also offer a new damping knob for a better, positive adjustment feel.
