The crew at Holley is working hard preparing for the fifth year anniversary of the all-LS celebration that has become THE place to be in the world of LS performance. The LS Fest crew has been working diligently to ensure the website is up to date for this year’s event.
Some updates to consider when navigating the site:
Two new drag classes (C7 Corvette Challenge and a COPO Camaro Challenge) have been added to LS Fest. More information on these classes will be posted to the site as it becomes available.
Last year Autocross and 3S Challenge portions of LS Fest were capped to a 125 car limit in order to ensure enough driving time for participants. This same process will apply for 2014 as well.
Spectators can enjoy a day at LS Fest for $12 at the gate or save $11 by purchasing a three day ticket for just $25. Tell your friends!
We're glad to announce another Drift Challenge for the 2014 LS Fest schedule that will allow drivers to once again showcase their talent and compete for a $1,500 purse and great publicity! Second and third place gift certificates for Holley brand products will be given in $750 and $375 product certificates.
This event consists of skilled drivers and their vehicles competing in tandem competition around a predetermined course to decide a winner. Drivers are evaluated by a panel of three judges that decide who advances to the next round based on four criteria: line, speed, angle, and overall style.
It doesn't matter what make and model the vehicle is as long as it's powered by an LS engine. If you are interested in putting yourself up for selection in this invitation only event please send an email to driftchallenge@holley.com containing the following information: your name, address, phone number and car year, make, model. Send photos of your vehicle's exterior and engine compartment. Then tell us (in 200 words or less) why you should be chosen for the challenge, and what professional skills/qualifications you have that will help you compete. Better hurry, as we're only accepting a select amount.

Holley is also actively seeking two teams for participation in the 2014 Holley LS Fest Engine Swap Challenge. Car Craft magazine will be on hand to document the race and the winning team gets to keep the engine.
The 2014 Car Craft Engine Swap Challenge is taking place Saturday September 6th, 2014 at Holley’s LS Fest in Bowling Green, KY at Beech Bend Raceway. Each team will consist of two members. Teams will bring their own hand tools (no air tools are permitted) and Holley will supply each team with an equally prepped running vehicle along with a GM LS engine and Holley LS swap components to make the swap possible. From there both teams face-off to see which can install the GM LS engine in place of the older engine and get it running in the shortest duration of time. The winning team gets to keep the engine which is equipped with numerous bolt-on LS parts from Holley Performance, including an EFI system.
Those interested in competing in Holley’s 2014 Car Craft Engine Swap Challenge event should compose an email including contact information for each two person team and what makes you think you’re up to the challenge. Submissions should be sent to engineswap@holley.com.
