We found this video inspiring and wanted to share it with you. A major part of this video is a tribute to the greats of Motorsports who have died pursuing their passion. Much of of the footage goes back to the days when racing was one of the most dangerous occupations there was. Many were killed and maimed yet people still did it like a moth drawn to a flame. This video attempts to explain why.
The power and glory of competition is vividly shown as are the consequences of what can happen and how some have to deal with the high price of risk taking for the rest of their lives. In these days of highly engineered race cars and advances in safety one can easily forget the huge risks the greats of the sport took, even as recently as the days before Senna’s demise. These men were heroes. This video pays tribute to them.
