I’ve never seen one of these in person before.
At Le Mans, however…
We saw at least 6 of them! Zero of the original ones, strangely, which I have spotted before everywhere from Long Beach, California to Chilpancingo, Mexico.

Lotus 7ish cars are so common here you seldom look twice. Unless you spot E36 M3 wheels. Turns out this one is all E36 bits underneath. A little googling (try the L7 GKD plate) revealed that this exact car is for sale and is powered by a lowly 318 engine, but they do make straight-6 powered ones too, which seems so right and so wrong all at the same time.
