This was just my second year attending the Grand Prix of Long Beach and I seriously regret not coming sooner. As a fan of all motorsports machinery, it did not get any better than being a couple feet away from apexes and listening to the cars go through their gears and power out. While taking pictures on the front straight I literally felt the concrete barriers shake when cars would zoom by! Hopefully your better understanding of the different cars and classes of the Grand Prix participants will entice you to come out and watch next year or attend a motorsports event near you.
