Peter welds some O2 sensor bungs on the Y pipe from the headers that feed the big twin scroll Borg Warner EFR 9180 turbo.
I thought Eric was doing something cool but he is just checking his text messages. Eric’s voice mailbox is always full and he never answers his phone so texting is the way to get a hold of him. I guess I never answer my phone when I am busy either….
Gary is working on the wheelwell inlet duct for the upper deck of the oven. The right wheelwell feeds the intercooler.
You can see the shroud for the exit air from the Greddy intercooler here and the start of the shroud for the lower deck of the oven which is fed from the left wheelwell.
You can see the flanges for the vents through the rear bulkhead for the oven air.
The vents lead to this duct diffuser that exits out of the low pressure zone between the diffuser and the deck spoiler. The through ducting will actually help reduce drag and boost the diffuser’s effectiveness in creating downforce.
