Behind the Smoke: Episode 1 – Drifting According to Dai

Have you ever wondered what it is like to be a Pro Drifter with a Factory ride? Is it all action, girls and glamor or is is it a bunch of hard work? Our friends at the GT Channel will be following team Falken’s Dai Yoshihara around throughout the 2011 Formula D season to report on his and the rest of his team’s trials and tribulations in the reality series “Behind the Smoke”.
Crew chief Scott Dodgion and the team’s engineer, our own Mike Kojima also have parts in the series and will be making cameo appearances throughout the year.. The contributions of KW Suspension’s Chris Marion cannot be overlooked either.
We have three videos, one the series teaser, which is pretty funny like a 70’s cop show or something and a POV teaser of Dai vs Ross Petty at Formula D’s round one at Long Beach. The third video is the debut show of the team prepping for the season, testing at Willow Springs before Long Beach. Enjoy and we will be posting more as they come.
