Where am I going to find electric fans for my race car without braking the bank?  Look no further than the Mercedes section of the yard.  Mercedes, BMW and other European manufacturers use high quality fans like these and they can be yours for a song.  They also have nice aluminum radiators ready to cool your mad creation.

Speaking of cooling, check out this massive oil cooler!  All Mercedes Diesels come with these nice units.  A perfect low dollar upgrade for your car.  This unit is made by Bher and would cost a fortune new.  SSJY don't care!  It sells that for $18.

Want to make a turbo kit for under $100?  You can.  Here  are all the parts you need on this one Saab.  That turbo is like a ripe tomato just waiting to be picked by you.  Check out the nifty U-Turn intercooler and note that nice intercooler plumbing.  You could spend a fortune buying all that stuff new and here it is ready to go.

Lots of parts left on this 1st Gen RX7.  Again, no more is charged for a super rare part that you can't find every day than for the rearview on a Taurus.  Remember this.  Live it.

Who wants a Torsen Diff for their Miata?  I bet that a good look at all the Miatas in a couple of yards would get you one.  For under $100.  The wage slave in the cash cage can't tell the difference between the two, and even if he could, he still would charge the same amount anyway.  Each time you pay your $2 entry fee you are buying a lottery ticket and while our schools don't win too, the winning number is way more likely to come up in the form of that part you have been dying to find.

In closing one can also just get lucky and have a bone-yard breakthrough like this guy finding this Suzuki Swift GTI with it's very rare and nice seats still intact.  Tune into Project Starletabusa to see what happens with those and other junkyard gems that I have been collecting.  Do yourself a favor, get a few friends together and head on over to the wrong side of the tracks  and with a little luck you might bag some big ticket items for next to nothing.  Oh and make sure to visit the taco trucks and work clothes stands in the parking lot.  Coveralls for next to nothing and the best tacos ever.  It's like the cafe at IKEA only way better.

The claw is thy Master!
