DG-Spec Scion Team Featured on NBC Sports TV Show!
The DG-Spec Scion road racing team will be featured in the hour-long reality TV show, “Survive the 25.” The show airs on NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus) and covers the team’s 25-Hours of Thunderhill racing effort that took place this past December. The race has the unique distinction of being the longest road race in North America. This past 25-hour race marked the most entries in the history of the event, with nearly 90 cars trying to weather the grueling test.
Lead producer for the show, Clark Cambern had this to say:
“As a producer, I look for two things in my subjects: passion and honesty. They're the most important elements in any story. They're also incredibly rare. I watched the DG-Spec team laugh, cry, cheer, and fight their way through one of the toughest races in the world. They met every challenge swinging and absolutely refused to give up, even when things seemed hopeless. In short, they were totally committed and completely real. I hope the audience enjoys watching the DG-Spec story as much as we enjoyed telling it. I promise- it's a helluva ride.”

DG-Spec is a line of parts designed and endorsed by National Champion Scion road racer Dan Gardner. Gardner draws up the specifications for the parts himself. The parts are then tested and proven on the track. The goal of DG-Spec is to provide enthusiasts with parts that have been developed on the track and that have significant performance advantages at an honest price. Parts are offered either in hardcore track trim, identical to what Gardner and his team race with, or in Gardner-specified standards more appropriate for enthusiast use on the street. www.DanGardnerSpec.com.
