As we mentioned in our earlier post, Ryuji Miki in his RX-7 had us running for our lives after he collided with the tire wall just a few feet in front of us–shedding his right rear quarter and boomerang inspired endplate from his wing. Fortunately none of us got hit by any large debris but you can see in the video below the potential to injure that endplate had.
Perhaps figuring he might have better luck with lefthand side bodyparts, Miki smashed his car into the wall on the banked part of the oval on Saturday flinging that quarter panel, endplate and eventually the bumper at Tony Brakohiapa in his Team X Ford Mustang seen in the sequence below. Watch out for this guy!
