FX Motorsports Development to enter the World Time Attack Challenge

FX Motorsports Development is proud to announce their entry in the 2010 World Time Attack Challenge at Eastern Creek Raceway in Sydney, Australia! Many of the top teams around the globe will be attending this event to find out who is the fastest in the world! Eastern creek is renowned as a horsepower track and with the highly experienced Billy Johnson doing the driving they will certainly be one to watch on the 21st 22nd May!
Hailing from Las Vegas Nevada, team FXMD is the reigning Redline unlimited RWD champion and has been a dominant force in US time attack racing holding many track records. FXMD is now making the long trip down under to take on the world's best.
Team FXMD will debut their new Unlimited Time Attack NSX at this event. The car has been extremely fast in testing with over 600bhp and having clocked a 10.04 second quarter mile time in full circuit trim. The new car is going to sport extensive aerodynamic development and even more power.
Billy Johnson is an American professional race car driver competing in the Grand-Am Sport Car Series for Roush Racing in a Ford Mustang FR500C as well as competing in Time Attacks events (Redline and Super Lap Battle) in an assortment of cars ranging from the FXMD Turbo NSX, Twin Turbo 350Z, R34GTR, and many more.
Over the past three years, Johnson has proved to be the most prolific and versatile driver in the Grand-Am Koni Challenge series. In this time frame, his unsurpassed 14 podiums and 6 wins were produced with six different co-drivers, four different teams, four different cars, and in two different classes.
Johnson’s versatility is shown by his ability to jump in and win in front-engine front-wheel-drive Acuras, front-engine rear drive Mustangs, and rear engine rear drive Porsches; and his ability to give detailed feedback as a development driver.
