Hard as F*ck!- Mike Essa's BMW Z4 Drift Monster
 A close H pattern shifter makes shifting fast.  A hydraulic turning brake is next to the shifter.

A custom steel driveshaft with heavy duty Spicer U-joints couples the tranny to a Speedway Engineering quick change rear end with a 4.11 final drive ratio and a spool differential.  Driveshaft Shop axles with high strength 300M shafts and Porsche 930 CV joints are bulletproof and reliable even with drifting’s rough clutch kicking action.

 A Wilwood pedal assembly contains the dual brake master cylinders and the balance bar which sets brake bias.

The brakes use a Wilwood pedal assembly with dual master cylinders and a balance bar.  An adjustable proportioning valve will also be used.  Wilwood 4 piston front and 2 piston rear Superlight calipers are used with lightweight solid 2-piece rotors.  A rear hydraulic turning brake is used with a hand lever activating an independent Wilwood caliper.

A drive by wire throttle is no problem for a Pectel SQ6 ECU!  A lightweight tubular steering column has a quick release for the steering wheel.

 Fabricated bracket holds the twin dual piston calipers.

 Wilwood rear brake and turning brake with lightweight two piece rotor.
