| The Hooker headers feature this thick cast stainless steel flange for long lasting warp resistance. The high quality flange resists warping for leak free operation. The flange is scalloped like expensive CNC race header flanges to reduce weight without giving up stiffness. When I was a kid, tinkering on V8's in the late 70's early 80's, Hookers were the best out of the box headers on the market but they were nothing like this. Back then, thin mild steel and thin flanges meant that they didn't last that long. |

Hooker Headers has also just released a new Engine Swap Mount Plate kit to allow installation of GM’s LS engine into the S13 and S14 Nissan 240SX chassis (1989-1998 year models). These CAD designed, steel constructed mount plates offer precision fitment and a robust, cost effective mounting solution to those wanting to take on this popular swap combination.
These mount plates offer dual compatibility with the soon to be released Hooker 240SX LS Engine Swap Headers and all Sikky brand swap components (oil pan, driveshaft, anti-roll bar, etc.) that are produced for the S13 and S14 Nissan chassis.
The mount plates are zinc plated while the transmission mount is powder-coated black to ensure a great look and corrosion resistance.
Hooker’s mount plates must be used in conjunction with Prothane brand transmission bushing part # 7-1604 and Creative Steel’s ’97-04 Corvette C5 urethane engine mount bushings part # 6.
These headers are currently in production and will be avalible in a few days according to Hooker. Hooker is also looking to build a cat back exhaust system to go with these headers as well in the near future. We are planning a project V8 LS S13 soon and we have our eye on these!
