Improved Racing Thermostatic Oil Cooler Adapter for LSX and LS Engines

Improved Racing has released a new oil cooler thermostat for rear-sump LS engines that provides better clearance for some aftermarket headers by routing the oil lines below the adapter instead of above it.

The adapter is also easy to install on LS3 and LS7 engines because it does not interfere with the knock sensor. It's also 100% compatible with the LSX block without modification.

The optional M12x1.5 sensor adapter fitting allows the factory oil temp sensor to be retained on the C5 Corvette. No sensor wiring harness extension is required. An 1/8” NPT port option is also available for aftermarket sensors.
 
The thermostat is offered in 180°F and 212°F temperatures and adapter fittings are available for -8AN, -10AN or -12AN line sizes. The part number is EGM-114 and prices start at $199.
