LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3-RS – UNBOXING

Looks like I will be the first one at MotoIQ with a Porsche 911 GT3-RS! This past holiday season I was the lucky recipient of this beautiful and very detailed LEGO Technic model. Ever since rumors of this model started circling the interwebs I've been keeping an eye on it, but never could bring myself to actually purchasing one. Why? Maybe it was the thought of being an almost 40 year old man and going out and buying a “toy”. Maybe it was its $300 price tag that made it just a little bit more difficult to justify.
Regardless, when I was handed the gift wrapped box on Christmas day by my other-half a childlike smile was brought to my face as soon as I shook the box. The unmistakeable sound of Legos shaking around immediately brought me back to my childhood and I quickly did the math and knew exactly what was behind the gift wrap. Any doubt about owning this “toy” went completely out the window and I could not take my eyes off the gorgeous packaging.
So I'm going to take a small break from working on real cars for the next few weeks and go back to what influenced me to start taking cars apart in the first place, Legos! What exactly do you get for $300 from the master minds at Lego and Porsche? Watch our unboxing video and find out!
