From the Warmup Times and Qualifying Times, Edik would look to be the dominant car of the weekend. This proved true through the race as well as Edik only lost the lead during the first portion of the first lap. Afterwards, Edik pulled ahead and away as he was able to go nearly flat out the entire course. Dave would later comment that he was suffering from bad understeer in Race 1.
MPTCC Round 2
Ryan Lapp brought out this brand new Ford Fiesta for Tuner Under racing. The car looked very slow and it did not finish the race and did not compete the rest of the weekend. Mechanical trouble did keep this car from showing its stuff and the team said there was a lot more left in it!

If there is one thing you can't deny, it's that Michele doesn't put it all in her driving. She gave over 100 percent in both races and really made the 3,000 plus car look lighter than it really was.

Just as at Buttonwillow, cars in the other slow classes going off track made for some interesting surface conditions. The varying skill sets are what makes multi-class racing both exciting for the fans and a pain for the drivers. A majority of the time, however, the slower cars would get out of the way of the faster ones and would result in off courses like this, too.

However, the Speedsource/Mothers Mazda RX8 got itself running enough to get out of harms way and racing continued at full speed with Edik Stepanyan taking the win in MPTCC and finishing First Overall.
