MPTCC Round 2
Remember that Oversteer issue that Dave ran into in Race 1? Well, they tried to fix it and probably did it too good. Coming out of the Esses just before NASCAR 4 during the warmup session, Dave ran on the rumble strip and slid nose first into the wall. It was such a gentle loss of traction, they aren't totally sure what happened. However, it did end the day for Dave Lemon and a front clip will need to be replaced on the car.
MPTCC Round 2
With Dave Lemon out and Ryan Lapp not able to get his Fiesta running right, there would be only 4 cars in the MPTCC class for Race 2. This also meant that everyone had a far better chance at a podium!
MPTCC Round 2
Michele made sure her best chances were before the start. She was able to qualify in Second place. This really isn't bad considering she is in such a heavy car. However, it is the goal of Autosport Dynamics to make the tC something the average enthusiast can replicate. I do feel they need to remove some weight to help make her more competitive. It certainly isn't her driving skills that have kept her away from a win.
MPTCC Round 2
You know, though, even at that weight that doesn't mean the tC was a slow car even among the rest of the classes. Just because she didn't dominate in MPTCC, she did show the boys in the other classes who was boss. So, don't get me wrong, this tC is fast where it counts.  I just think it needs to be able to keep up with Edik Stepanyan's Integra and Dave Lemon's RX8, too.
MPTCC Round 2
While you may think being so dominant would be very boring for Edik, it really isn't. Since he was the dominating driver of MPTCC, his challenge would be to get the Overall Win on both days. This old, yet very fast Integra is certainly something to look towards if you want to replicate a fast race car on a minimal budget!
MPTCC Round 2
There was some battling between Steve Rockwood and Justin Taylor in Race 2 for a few laps, but eventually Taylor passed Steve and would go on to podium Race 2.
