Everyone decided it was time to go down to the paddock and work on their cars. Steve and Martin didn't have much to do as the G20 was handling great. It was a simple fuel it up and check it over. There was a potential alternator issue, but they figured it would survive the race. Steve even chatted with fellow racers getting a better feel for the track. |

The Gruppe-S crew, however, continued to try and diagnose the tC. They could not find an issue prior to the race and the car did continue to run normally. |

Meanwhile, it was time for the MPTCC officials to talk to Edik about the dyno results. It looked like he would have to be disqualified for the entire weekend. That would not bode well for his points lead. |

However, Edik and his crew did point out in the rulebook that the official dyno is at Road Race Engineering and not at any of the tracks. Per the rules, he was legal and he was right. It was decided by everyone, both officials and racers, that at the end of the race the car would be sealed and towed to Road Race Engineering for an official test of his car at a later date. |

This shows the camaraderie of the MPTCC, as both the drivers, the accused, and the officials all came to an agreement to ensure a fair series for everyone. Edik will get his day in court and everyone will race their cars on Sunday. However, the winner wouldn't be determined at the moment the checkered flag fell on Race 2. |

With nothing to lose, Edik took to Race 2 as he did in Race 1, full throttle and good racecraft. Rockwood would again fall to third place because of slower cars and Michele seized that advantage. |
