MotoIQ Radio: Tim Smith of Tim Smith Racing and Land Speed Record R/C
I had another interesting conversation while I was at Glen Helen Raceway this weekend. While watching some 1/10th scale Rock Racing on their awesome looking and narly track, I met Tim Smith. Tim Smith is best known in the RC world for his record setting and Guinness records in RC Land Speed and Drag Racing. He's done more than that so we'll talk to him about LSR, ovals, rock crawling, and what he's doing with a Vaterra Twin Hammers.
If you haven't heard of Tim Smith, the you don't know that he's the current world record holder for the fastest RC at 167.8 MPH. That, is, fast. Nearly Chuck Johnson fast!
We'll also talk abou this amazing piece of technology that Tim uses along with that Vaterra Twin Hammers.
