Even with her short arms, Christa can easily reach the Keypad.

So far, Christa has had a lot of trouble reaching the controls and seeing out of every single race car she has driven. She is only 5’2″ and most racecars are set up for much taller drivers. We went through a lot of work to make sure this is one car where she is actually comfortable, can reach every control, and see where she is going.

ZSM Custom built this foot riser. In every car she has driven, her feet have just dangled, and she had to hold her legs up for an entire race. Now she can drive normally.

Next, we had to position the Haltech-supplied drive-by-wire throttle. This bolts to a mounting plate welded to the firewall. A drive-by-wire throttle opens us up to a lot of future possibilities like multi-step rev limiting, flat shift, auto blipping on down shift, launch control, and traction control.
