ZSM also mounted our Plastics 4 Performance Lexan windows. We had to go to Lexan because the glass shop broke our windshield and one of the side windows when removing them! They also trashed our moldings. ZSM flush-mounted the windows using hard rubber strips for good aerodynamics and eliminating the need for moldings.
Plastics 4 Performance windows can be ordered with blacked-out edges, molded in tint, and a scratch-resistant coating. We got all of the options. They are molded with curves in them, but they are not a perfect fit, and ZSM had to massage the heights of the rubber to get everything to fit well.
Our Lexan windshield was removed because of the welding for the dash mounts, but its installation looks just as good as the rear windows! We got a Seibon vented carbon fiber hood and ZSM fitted it, and installed the aero catches to hold it down.
We got a Vertex body kit for our car, We wanted JDM quality fiberglass. The front fenders have a wheel well pressure relief vent and are 20mm wider than stock, while looking pretty OEM, this is the look we wanted. We are using Titan 7 T-S5 wheels in 18×9.0 with a +29 mm offset. The tires are Nitto NT01 in 245/40-18. We will get more into those details later.
In addition to hanging the bodywork, ZSM also did a lot of work installing the Koyo radiator and Greddy Intercooler on improved fabricated brackets, and building a ram airbox for the inlet. This all fits neatly behind an Enjuku bash bar with a front jacking point.
A closer look at the really sanitary work on the front-end parts. It is hard to see, but the radiator is ducted to the front of the car. ZSM is also building a ducted oil cooler for the engine oil.
