Turblown Engineering offers an Inconel Heat Shield for their EWG Cast FD Turbo Manifold.
These Inconel heat shields are constructed of 700 series Inconel, which when heated, produces a natural oxide barrier that heat wrap, heat tape, aluminum, or stainless shields do not produce. These are by far the best heat management money can buy, which is the most important aspect to reduce underhood temperatures and protect components from the extremely high exhaust gas temperatures.
The clam shell design with a proprietary insulation material inside makes the lasting protection of these heat shields good to 3,000*F! The heat shielding comes with supplied safety wire as well.
To control the speed of our EFR turbo, we are using twin GenV Comp-Gate40 wastegates from TurboSmart. These 40mm external wastegates are motorsport-proven, the highest-flowing of their kind, with world-leading extended thermal performance, fatigue resistance and best-in-class flow performance for optimum control and longevity.
The TurboSmart GenV external wastegate was a ground-up redesign of their highly successful Gen4 with the only aspect rolling over being the mounting orientation.
TurboSmart’s unique collar-locking system, variable actuator cap and base make for an easy 360-degree optional routing of reference hoses, strap-type V-band clamps, and optional liquid-cooling provisions. 1/8″ NPT reference ports are provided with the full range of available springs. CFD optimized and validated in-house for maximum flow and thermal management, the GenV range of wastegates have more features, options and performance than any other gate on the market.
