I was cruising Freshalloy and found this thread on why the R35 GT-R is so damn heavy. Yes believe it or not, I am active on a couple of Skyline GT-R forums only because I’m an enthusiast at heart. Otherwise, fuck forums. GT-R forums are small and cozy usually without child like behavior or low intelligence found on other forums. Anyhow, I guess it’s quite obvious why the R35 is so fat and heavy after you look at these pics:

The BNR34 looks 7/8 scale!
