Legendary driver Marcus Grönholm is a household name in most of the world.  Hopefully Americans will come to know him well soon.

“We love Tanner”- Tyler McQuarrie “But we won’t miss him!”- Dai Yoshihara.  Two Formula D aces that were spectators wish Tanner well.

“It is a great feeling to have this first event in the books,” said series co-founder Brian Gale. “It is the realization of years of hard work and the amount of interest from sponsors, manufacturers and participants is really encouraging. I can’t wait to watch it on ESPN.”

X-Games freestyle BMX champion Dave Mirra seemed to be having trouble with his rear suspension for the main heats.  It was slowing him down noticeably and causing his tire to rub.

It was so cool to see Stephan Verdier in his low buck car give Tanner the business in his factory Ford machine that cost 5x more to build.

The RallyCar organization sanctions the Global RallyCross Championship events. Competitors in the Global RallyCross Championship may also elect to score points in the U.S. Rallycross Championship.

The main event was some really intense action.  Hopefully Rallycross will catch on here.
