Clint Boisdeau in the ABF Motoring Mini Cooper has been unstoppable all season long with his 4th straight victory in the Street FWD class. Paul Dentice has also been on a winning streak in his AE Performance 370Z taking his third 1st place finish in Fontana Nissan Enthusiast RWD class. Ed Lee in the Berk Technology/Buddy Club Honda S2000 finished a close 2nd which is quite a feat. In the Enthusiast FWD class Michael Chang in the Evasive Motorsports Civic SI continues his domination with another resounding 1st place win.

The Super Session saw the largest field of cars ever with eleven cars taking flight. The G-Stig driving the GST Motorsports Subaru Impreza took the early lead and never looked back. Dez Ballard in the ABF Motoring “Red Jelly Bean of Death” Mini Cooper was once again the crowd favorite with his heroic driving and insane straight line speed. Seeing all eleven cars from different classes’ battle it out in a crazy wheel to wheel 5 lap sprint race is something you need to experience for yourself. Nowhere else will you see an 800hp drag Mini vs. a 200hp Ford Focus along with GTR’s, BMW’s, and S2000’s go head to head in a battle for supremacy on the same track.

The sport of Time Attack racing doesn’t deviate too far from a full blown arms race when you take into consideration that these Time Attack cars are using satellites to triangulate their position and speed, billet titanium parts, and carbon fiber that you would normally find on the latest generation of fighter planes. The teams out there are pushing the boundaries of what a factory unibody car can do on the race track and are the driving force behind the high performance industry. The next Redline Time Attack is a month away at Sebring International Raceway, Sebring, FL where the teams will once again bring out the newest weapon designed to kill, kill, kill….. lap records that is.
