Refresh Your Brakes With Stoptech’s Sport Kit

,

We flushed our brake system with Stoptech's new STR600 street performance brake fluid.  STR600 brake fluid is DOT4 compliant and has the right viscosity kinematics for ABS and vehicle stability systems.  The STR600 fluid has a super high dry boiling point of 594 degrees and a wet boiling point of 404 degrees with an impressive minimum wet boiling point of 383 degrees.  STR600's metal can is less water vapor permeable than plastic which can extend its shelf life by as much as 25%.

The rotors on our car's stock brakes were in OK shape but the pads were about gone.

The first parts to be removed were the stock rubber brake lines.

Here is the stock rotor compared to the Sportstop rotor.  The dimensions are identical but the differences are Stoptech's metallurgy, drilling, slotting, precision machined balance and e-coat.

Goodbye squishy rubber lines!

Technosquare's Howard Watanabe installs the Stoptech braided steel lines.  The lines have a clean OEM fit.
