SPL Parts Suspension Upgrade on the Devine Force Racing VA STi

After installing all these goodies, we took the car to the track to see how these suspension upgrades would hold up. We detuned the car to mitigate some engine issues and put a sticker set of Yokohama A052’s on and attacked Lime Rock to see the difference. Last year when we had 660whp and the old suspension set up I was only able to manage a time of 1.01.4 and this year with a lower powered car I was able to do a 0.58.4! It was amazing how confident I felt in the car, and if you follow along on Instagram, you’ll see I may have gotten a little too confident. We took the car to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and once again the car handled amazingly, doing everything I wanted it to and allowing for easy toe adjustments as needed for the track conditions. So not only does SPL’s product work but it’s also made in the USA. It’s rare to find companies making things in the USA anymore especially with the quality of craftsmanship these products have. Stay tuned for more track adventures with SPL’s products and the specs we use to set up the car to go fast

  1. Great write up, I plan on using the same parts on my GR WRX. Can I ask about the front sway bar end links? I haven’t been able to find any that use rod ends. Thanks!
