State of the Art GM Design Center, Chaparral 2X Vision GT & Rare Concept Cars
GTChannel visited the General Motors Design Studios located within the walls of the GM Technical Center in Warren Michigan. We interviewed Clay Dean, Design Director of GM Global Advanced Design. The Advanced Design team works on concept cars and major initiatives for what is to come in the future. One of the cool concept cars we were able to see was the Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo. This car was announced at the 2015 LA Auto Show as the first collaboration with Gran Turismo/Sony Playstation's Vision project.
The Chaparral is a legendary name in US motorsports history and Clay explains the significance of the partnership and how this concept car came about.
