There’s this cool show on the Discovery Channel called “Survivorman”. This dude is the real life MacGyver and Crocodile Hunter all in one. He goes to some desolate place some random place in nature, fakes an incident that could happen to any outdoorsman, and then the camera crew leaves him there. He has to survive for 7 days before the camera crew returns to pick him up. The idea is to show you how to survive in nature when you don’t have shit on you and you’re all by yourself. In the process of trying to survive, he’s got to film everything by himself, talk to you (the viewer), find food, water, shelter, etc. This guy is buff. The show is a bit slow paced, but I couldn’t turn the TV off. You should check it out.
