The first step is removing the stock struts.  This only takes a few minutes.  Three bolts at the top, two at the bottom and unhooking the front antisway bar link.

You can see how the ST Suspension strut is much shorter that the stock strut.  This makes sure that their is still sufficient bump travel even when the car is lowered.

Mike removes the stock strut hats from the stock struts and attaches them to the ST Suspension struts.  The stock hats are used to give the best vibration isolation as this is a daily driver sort of set up.

 Mike roughly measures the collar heights for the springs and sets them equally before bolting the struts up.

The ST swaybar end links are shorter to keep the swaybar geometry in the correct place even when the car is lowered.  This is a nice touch that is usually ignored in the aftermarket.
