There are four kits in this vehicle/engine family from the FWD & RWD 2.0T to the FWD 2.4L DOHC 16V. The two piece kit consists of stock diameter crank and alternator pulleys. In addition the kits include the necessary Gates belt for smooth and quiet running.
The stock pulleys weigh in at a combined 5 lbs. and the UR pulleys weigh in at a svelt 13.5 ozs., making them 83% lighter then stock. We have already seen power gains in the 9-16 WHP range from the 2.0T's and 5-9 range from the 2.4L DOHC 16V.
The development of our Hyundai kits was spurred on by the community and especially by our Authorized Dealer Throwdown Performance. The 2.0T will be stocked exclusively by Throwdown joining the UR pulley sets for the Hyundai Genesis 3.8L DOHC 24V.
