It is with great pride that we announce Turbosmart was presented with the 2014 Small Business award by Trade and Investment Minister Andrew Robb at the 52nd Australian Export Awards in Sydney on November 27.
The Australian Export Awards is a national program that recognises and honours Australian companies who have achieved sustainable growth through innovation and commitment. Businesses are measured based on the strength of their international growth, marketing and financial strategies.
Turbosmart CEO and founder Nic Cooper accepted the award on the company’s behalf, and in an emotional speech said that Turbosmart is one united team of good friends across Australia, The United Kingdom, and the United States of America who are bound by a passion for what they do.

Trade and Investment Minister Andrew Robb personally congratulated Mr Cooper on this high achievement.
Mr Robb said the awards highlight international business excellence at a time when opportunities offshore have never been greater. “The businesses recognised by these awards make a huge contribution to our economy, and I congratulate the winners – indeed all the finalists – for their commitment, creativity and drive,” Mr Robb said.
“Turbosmart is a leader in their field, and as such, is a fine example of what others can achieve when they set their sights on venturing into international markets.” Mr Robb said.

The evening's Master of Ceremonies, comedian and radio personalty Adam Spencer, asked Mr Cooper if he had any advice for other small businesses who want to take it to the next level.
“Just believe in what you do, and do it for your passion. Don't do it for the money, just do it because you believe in it.” Mr Cooper answered.
Mr Spencer then quipped “We're all going to get a lift home with him tonight… we'll be there in three minutes.”
