  1. Hey guys, just a quick question and hope someone sees this.

Got a solid rear axle full time AWD ride. Doesn’t come with a rear axle anti sway bar. Would it be beneficial to add one or nay?

Thanks for your time and keep up the good work.

      1. Wow hey thanks for chiming in.

Vehicle in question is a relatively lightweight L701 Mira with AWD (viscous centre diff), YRV turbo swap, manual transmission and front / rear LSDs.

Trying to make some improvements for the handling seeing as the chassis (especially the front suspension arm design) was never meant to be performance oriented anyways.

Thanks again for your time and advice. Keep up the great work on the Youtube videos.

  2. Hey guys! Really enjoyed this video but had a few questions. At 7:25 Mike mentioned that the resulting stiffer suspension for the outside tire caused by a sway bar “increases weight transfer”. I am failing to understand how having less body roll increases weight transfer to the outside. Especially when the ultimate form of weight transfer would be a roll-OVER, where the inside tire is completely lifted and the outside has 100% weight. I want to be an automotive mechanical engineer when I graduate so any and all explanation to help me understand this would be tremendously appreciated. Thank you!!
