I think you more or less answered my question when you discussed how some people can ruin machined surfaces by going to heavy with the spray or using the wrong media. But do you think this could be used on something like a Mazda rotor to clean out the side seal grooves? Or that it would be a good use of the process?
I think walnut or melamine dry media would work best for the grooves.
