The BMW front test pipes were easy to install, and a good fit. Don’t tighten them down yet, however.
Apparently our Corsa muffler setup in the back didn’t like the fitment of the supplied BW clamps. No worries, a small washer on each side did the trick. This should not be necessary with a factory muffler.
With the washers helping keep the clamps tight, we had a tight, leak-proof seal.
Continue by connecting the resonator section to the front test pipes with the supplied clamps (this is what the piping coloration will look like after some use).
It’s always good to not clamp everything down too tight until you have it all fitting together nicely. Once you achieve the fit you can finish by clamping everything down “gutentight”, as Ryan from MKC likes to say. When securing the test pipes to the headers, you’ll need two wrenches to turn against each other for maximum ft-lb of wrenching torque.

I’m investigating issues where the E92 M3 with Bimmerworld resonated X-Pipe has a torque dip/hesitation/bog under light-moderate acceleration around 2500 RPM. Did you encounter this with your vehicle either before or after the tune?
i apologize itself been so long I cannot remember if we encountered anything this. Sorry not much help
