Who Needs Sleep When There’s Cars and Coffee?

Superperformance MKIII, a modern take on the classic Cobra.

The quality of this Cobra replica was amazing, even down to details like the black anodized fittings for the oil cooler.

Ford GT40, a common sight at Cars and Coffee.

The owner of this GT40 must be rather tall, as a Gurney Bump has been fitted.  It's gotta feel weird to have the top of your head shoved into this thing.

Flippin' beautifully restored 1971 Oldsmobile 442.

I found a few bits of 70's engineering interesting, like this flap near the radiator.  Maybe it's some sort of shroud to direct air into the radiator?

A simple spring mechanism pops the hood up for easy access once the hood release is pulled (and also leaves a mean scrape mark on the bottom of the hood)

Honda Type R owners have their red valve covers, Olds 442 owners have red fender liners!  Curiously though, these things looked like they were made of plastic.

I leave you with one more shot of the red 300SL, this time preparing to leave.
