World Time Attack Challenge 2011: Final Report

,

Guy Harding in the Harding Performance Volkswagen Golf R managed a 1:50.8660 in the Clubsprint Class. Remember that these cars must still hold a current registration and are still driven on the street.

There were only 3 Hondas at this year’s WTAC, but Luke Ryall did a hell of a job representing for the Honda camp.  His turbo Honda Civic was the fastest FWD car at the event and came in 26th overall and 13th in the Open Class with a 1:40.0130.  Impressive indeed!

Kouta Sasaki’s 1:32.0340 in the Panspeed FD RX7 placed him in 8th overall.

Greg Lysien and the WTAC crew have definitely found the right formula for a successful event and we wish them nothing but the best as the series continues to grow.  Now we just need to make sure we get some more US representation at next year’s event so we can bring the title home to America!

We hope you have enjoyed our continuous coverage of this year’s World Time Attack Challenge and welcome you to continue to check back with us as we will be bringing you a number of MotoIQ Inside Looks at the cars of this year’s WTAC!
