The usual progression starts with USF2000 and then they move on to the Star Mazda series. From here the drivers make the jump to Indy Lights which puts them one step away from driving in the IZOD IndyCar Series. |

A faulty oil line or fitting must have caused this unfortunate car fire – when it came in to the pits the entire rear driver side corner of the car was on fire as well as the oil it was puking. Luckily the driver was perfectly OK and the safety crews were able to put out the fire before the car burned down to a useless shell. |
