BorgWarner has created an innovative new product line for the automotive aftermarket. The new Airwerks® SX-E series product line has been designed to create more performance options in the motorsports market in regards to size and functionality.
The S200SX-E and S300SX-E have a host of features including
- Forged Milled Compressor Wheel (FMW),
- Pre-machined speed sensor and
- Pre-machined boost port
- Extended tip technology
In addition to the features listed above, the compressor wheels are designed have a much broader operating range in the same size package as previous S Series generation units. The S200SX-E will have two compressor inducer sizes (52mm or 57mm) while the S300SX-E will be available in five new sizes ranging from 61.4mm to 69mm (compressor inducer).
The S300SX-E will also feature a 360 degree thrust bearing for improved thrust capability and durability. Super core and companion turbine housing are sold separately. Moreover, the SX-E super cores are, also, field serviceable.
