Celebration of Motorsport

,

There's nothing like a weekend drive, maybe with the top down, to see the countryside. And if you can do that in your classic car at close to 160 KPH (100 MPH) then it's just that much better.
You'll still have to battle traffic, but at least everyone else is doing their best to stay ahead of you!
It's awesome what you can do with a Volkswagen powerplant!
Datsun Z cars simply look good.
I love the way the suspension on the left side is fully loaded and the right side the wheels are almost off of the ground!
Here's one last blast up the Andretti Straight. 160 KPH (100 MPH) for some of the momentum cars to possibly 270 KPH (170 MPH) for the horsepower cars. It's simply incredible.
The Event Centre at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park looks out over Turn 10, 9, and 8. It's an absolutely beautiful and historic location to hold this Celebration of Motorsport. Hope you've enjoyed the tour.

CASC-OR states “We've got the place to race” and I think that with the great selection you would have to agree with that. In addition to the disciplines mentioned in this article, there is also the Karts to Cars Driver Development program and, coming in September 2015, the inaugral Ontario 1500. If you enjoy motorsports, from driving to supporting through volunteer positions, to enjoying the action by being a spectator – then CASC-OR has some incredible action for you.

Thank you to Craig Daley and Jason Kho. They both drove me around CTMP while I was capturing the action.
