2011 would see further GTR development and more records. The Alpha 12 GTR would see 8 second passes in the midwest and 216 MPH in Texas. AMS would also provide the power for the Gates311 Evo X to become the world's fastest by going 180 MPH at the Texas Mile.
2012 is not even half over and already AMS has shown the Alpha AND the Omega. Their newly dubbed Alpha Omega GTR has already made over 1600 AWHP, Secured the GTR 1/4 mile record at 8.63@173 MPH, and a week later 4 wheel drifted its way to 233 MPH at the Texas mile. Honestly I cannot imagine what they have in store for the rest of the year…
In looking back at the words that I have put before you I notice that in a way I have somewhat failed at departing from the typical accomplishment article, perhaps it is not possible to write about the company without boasting their accolades, but with that said I would like to revisit the opening statement regarding people and rather than using words I will use images to describe the mentality behind AMS.
This is Laser, he is responsible for Alpha GTR turbo assembly. Laser likes turbos and hot women and for that I like Laser!
This is what Laser works with during his day job. Alpha GTR goodness.
Yes, AMS documents everything to the last detail. They also inspect oil filters after initial engine startup, and again after breakin, all before the car is cleared to leave the shop.
Yes, this is the shop van, no you can't drive it…
