Custom car cover manufacturer Coverking is launching a new program for owners of ultra-rare or super-customized vehicles, allowing them to protect their personalized investment with a perfect fitting custom-made cover. Called “Bespoke”, this program allows for a truly custom cover for any custom vehicle. Own a Ferrari Formula 1 car? Done. Own a Race Car with crazy aero? Done. Own a Batmobile? Done. At a surprisingly low base price of $900, a team of pattern designers will come to your road vehicle (additional charges for buses, RVs, etc.), take a 3D measurement using specialized scanners, and ship you a perfect fitting Bespoke cover a mere week from the date of measure (additional travel charges apply outside of the Southern California area). A variety of fabrics and colors are available to choose from, as well as custom piping, embroidery, and logos. Until now, the only option for owners of these specialized vehicles was to purchase a large, ill-fitting universal cover from an auto parts store. Now, through Coverking’s Bespoke program, any custom or rare machine can have the protection it deserves, no matter how unusual its shape.

According to Coverking, “We have seen a need for a truly custom cover in the market for some time, and are excited that our mass customization technology allows us to offer it. Now custom vehicle owners can get our high quality form-fitting cover, with the fewest seams possible, for virtually any vehicle.”

Coverking debuted its new Bespoke program at the Russo and Steele Collector Automobile Auction’s 12th Annual Scottsdale Auction Event on January 18-22, 2012. Coverking is a proud sponsor of Russo and Steele Auctions, and thanks to the auction organizers, a team of Coverking designers were on hand at the auction event to measure vehicles, eliminating travel charges for anyone in attendance.

Russo and Steele’s co-owner and CEO, Drew Alcazar, commented, “Russo and Steele is pleased to have hosted the debut of Coverking’s Bespoke program at our Scottsdale event. The new cover is a perfect fit for the discerning enthusiasts who attend Russo and Steele auctions. Our collaboration with Coverking allowed our clients the benefit of having their vehicles measured at a convenient time and location. Personally, I protect my entire collection with custom-made covers and it has been the second best investment outside buying my cars.”

About Coverking

Coverking manufactures custom covers in the USA for fine automobiles, motorcycles, and UTV’s, as well as seat covers, dash covers, floor mats, and cargo liners. Coverking was founded in 1986 by an aerospace engineer who brought sophisticated CAD/CAM systems, international quality certification, and a new process called “mass customization” to the automotive accessory industry. Pioneered by Coverking, mass customization is a technology for manufacturing a highly customized special order product in the shortest time possible. This technology allows Coverking to achieve a previously unattainable level of pattern quality and manufacturing efficiency. The result is a better fitting, higher quality cover made faster and at a lower cost than the competition. This has attracted leading automobile manufacturers, who rely on Coverking to manufacture private-label products for their vehicles.
