Driver Blog: Christian Rado – GTA @ PBIR

Even with these extreme conditions, the Brembo brakes worked flawlessly for me, but to be on the safe side the front calipers would need to be sent off to Brembo for maintenance to ensure that the seals were still good to go after such abuse. Jerry Buzza and his crew over at Race Technologies in Costa Mesa, CA have always taken great care of us and assured us we would see them back in a jiffy. Thanks guys!

Due to the delay from the earlier practice session we only had 20 minutes before the final session of the event, which was at 7:30pm and unfortunately I didn’t want to push my luck and head out with only a few minutes to service the tC, so we called it a weekend, but not before securing first place in the unlimited GT FF class with a final lap time of 1:20.810 and beating the current FWD track record by seven seconds!

All in all it was an awesome event, lots of people in attendance partially due to the awesome partnership Global Time Attack has entered in with Formula Drift. This is going to be the perfect formula to get more eyeballs on time attack and I absolutely love it.

Thank you to MotoIQ.com contributors Jerry Truong and Aaron Lundgren for their awesome imagery this weekend. I would also like to send a huge shout out to Brembo and Race Technologies for providing me with the proper equipment to go out there and stay safe, while shattering the record books at tracks all over the country. A special thank you to my entire crew for always working in any condition to get the car ready for battle.
