Event Coverage: Supras in Vegas 2015

,

Ly Kuy of Southern California, would take the top MK3 honors with a Twin Borg Warner 2JZ, set up by Twins Turbo in Signal Hill, CA. Ly’s car put down 718 WHP with his weight and the help of a friend in the trunk.
The top MK2 honors went to Bob Sully, his 7M powered 1985 Supra defended its 2014 win by adding 100 whp and finishing with 467 whp.
Matt Stephens and his pops Paul made the drive from Connecticut. Matt’s very clean MK4 put down a strong 475 whp pull.
Mike Carwin, represented So-Cal strong all weekend. He would take the Dyno crown with a 977 whp run.

A newer tradition started in 2014, was the Kick off party at Virtual Works Racing. Everyone comes back at night to Virtual Works, next door neighbors to All Access Tuning, for great food from the Hummus Factory food truck and an awesome car meet to end a Vegas Friday night.

Vegas locals came together and had an awesome Supras in Vegas ice sculpture made for the night time festivities.
The Hummus Truck was set up and ready to go with amazing fusion burgers, kabobs and more.
Cody Phillips Racing, SIV Drag and Dyno day sponor, debuted his amazing rebuilt drag chassis. Although it was not ready for 2015, expect to see it scream down the strip at SIV 2016.
