,

Now, we come to the fun stuff. The thing we are trying to save and make worthwhile again. I'm talking about Time Attack and John Naderi, Jason Dierhart, and the Global Time Attack Crew are doing a fantastic job! With not only professional live feeds online, but with results that can be followed each day! They are also offering better payouts and are the only Time Attack series that gives out Steak Knives to nearly every participate! Take that Japan, Europe, and Australia!

Street FWD:

GTA and MPTCC Round 1 - Buttonwillow
Mike Bonanni in the Descandant/World Racing Scion tC drove to a best lap time of 2:06.899. That allowed him to win third place. He was fighting boost issues all weekend, but this was a last minute decision to run Chris Rado's Daily Driven Turbo Street Car! Look for a feature on this car very soon!
GTA and MPTCC Round 1 - Buttonwillow
Second place isn't bad for a “Grocery Getter!” Kevin Courtney in the Project Import Honda Accord sets a best time of 2:05.871. Really, it's not a bad showing for such a big car!
GTA and MPTCC Round 1 - Buttonwillow
Winner of Street Class FWD is Ken Suen in the Godspeed Project/Sportcar Motion Honda Civic Si. His time of 2:01.872 was the winning time! A very impressive showing for the team and Ken Suen!

Street RWD:

GTA and MPTCC Round 1 - Buttonwillow
The Momofoolio Racing/ Novak Racing/ JRZ USA Honda S2000 of Alex Peng was able to secure 3rd Place with a time of 1:58.814. He was just faster than MPTCC Race 2 winner, Andrie Hartanto, who was pulling double duty in MPTCC and GTA.
GTA and MPTCC Round 1 - Buttonwillow
Street RWD turned out to be a battle of the BMWs as Evolution Racewerks and Berk Technology both brought out their 135i's for competition! With a time of 1:57.438, VJ Mirzayan was nearly a second behind Street Class RWD winner, but able to pull off the Synergy Turbo True Street RWD Class win! The Synergy Turbo True Street Class is a class with in classes and will be battling through the entire GTA Season!
GTA and MPTCC Round 1 - Buttonwillow
… Carl Rydquist, in the Berk Technology BMW 135i. He also competed in the Limited RWD Class, but more on that a little later. His best time of 1:56.191 was also a new class record for Street RWD for Buttonwillow in the CW13 formation! This goes to show that Bryan Min, owner of Berk Technology can not only build a fast car, but that Carl Rydquist can drive that car faster! Just as a note, if he was in Limited RWD with this setup, he would have placed 2nd on street tires! Second, however, sucks and Berk Technology doesn't!
