Street AWD:

GTA and MPTCC Round 1 - Buttonwillow
The RD Engineering Nissan GT-R of Roy Narvaez was a surprise in third place. His car was slipping and sliding all over the track, but using 255 tires was the culprit! Even with the slipping tires, he was still able to set a best time of 2:000.789!

Following close behind was the FAT Racing/Snail Performance Subaru WRX of Taylor Wilson. His time of 2:00.746 was the closest battle of the entire weekend!

Pulling double duty in Street FWD and Street AWD, Clint Boisdeau in the Apollo Performance Subaru WRX posts an impressive time of 1:58.412 to take the class win! The only bummer on Apollo Performances' weekend was a No Time score on their Ford Focus in Street FWD.

Limited FWD:

Novak Racing and Alex Peng also did double duty in two classes, this time in Limited FWD. His best time of 1:59.843 was good for second place in class. Finishing behind him was Carlos Valenzuela in his Honda CRX with a time of 2:11.061. It's amazing that these older chassis can really still keep up with the new technology, and shows you don't need to spend a fortune to go fast in GTA!

Despite an off course incident and a blown engine, the Sportcar Motion Acura Integra of Tim Kuo was still able to pull off a class win. His best time of 1:56.214 kept him in the top spot even after not being able to compete for the complete weekend!

Limited RWD:

GTA and MPTCC Round 1 - Buttonwillow
Time Attack Legend, Eiji “Tarzan” Yamada, came out to play with the Limited RWD Class. A poor handling race car and talented driving allowed Yamada to place second with a time of 1:54.121 in the Platte Forme a.g. BMW M3! Just goes to show that Tarzan can drive anything with any type of handling!

Again, with Carl not only pulling double duty in the Berk Technology BMW 135i, but the talent of Bryan Min, they were able to secure another class win in Limited RWD with just a change of tires and a few suspension tweaks! Hankook really showed what their tires were capable of as they were on almost every fast car in GTA! Their time of 1:52.487 was not only another class record broken, but nearly fast enough to compete in Unlimited RWD!
