How Magical is Black Magic Intense Wheel Cleaner? We Test it Out!
With a word such as 'magic' in the name, it's easy to assume that you're getting some really good wheel cleaner. We are slightly more skeptical, however, and we had to see for ourselves. What if Black Magic wheel cleaner didn't live up to its name?
Okay, enough quirky jokes. Let's get to scrubbing! Or, do we even need to scrub? Looking at the directions…
We actually read the instructions, and it's a good thing that we did. They call for the product to be sprayed onto the wheel DRY. We were a little thrown off by this since it's almost intuitive to wet the wheels before washing them.
So, like good instruction followers, we sprayed the cleaner on the wheels while they were dry. The red color is pretty neat, as is the nice cherry aroma the product has.
We sprayed liberally, ensuring to get in the easy to miss areas.
The directions indicate to let the product sit for two minutes before rinsing, and for tougher brake dust, to use a soft brush to loosen it up during this time frame. Our wheels weren't terribly dirty beforehand, but considering this S2000 has OEM brake pads and they tend to be historically dusty for a street composition, we wanted to see how intense the Intense Wheel Cleaner could be.
