Inside Matt Field’s Drift Assassin Nissan S14

,

Matt's car has a Modify Wonder Glare widebody aero kit.   The paint and body work are handled by Factory83.  The Livery is laid out by Danny at Sokodu Designs.
We really like the details of the Modify Wonder Glare kit and are considering it for one of our own S chassis builds. Modify Wonder Glare supplies the car;s rear wing as well.  Matt was famous for his huge rear wings and end plates but got tired of destroying them by rubbing on walls!
Just a normal wide body isn't enough and Matt has had to add bolt on flares on top of the 50mm wide fenders.  This looks better than just having them poke out of the body like so many others do now!
Fender flares are stacked on top of 50mm wide overfenders in the rear as well to keep the 295mm wide Falken 615K's under cover!
Matt's car is oh so fast and coupled with his aggressive driving style, he puts on a great show for the spectators and is a feared competitor.
In Tandem battles Matt is fierce and he's not afraid to get near contact distance close.
Matt's pedal to the metal, never lift, vectored thrust, high angle driving style has to be seen and heard to be appreciated.  His car's unique setup is perfectly suited to his driving style!

We would like to thank Matt Field for letting us poke all over his car during media day at FD Long Beach and for patiently sharing many of his secrets for car building and set up.  Matt is one of the rapidly rising new younger stars of Formula Drift and we have seen him grow from the stance kid with the big wings to one of the top competitors in the sport.

Keep an eye on Matt, we see a future champion here.
