The Lexus LF-A wet dream (er, supercar) was displayed at SEMA at the Lexus booth. The LF-A is a hand-assembled, made to order (one of 500) ride. It has a 4.8L, V10 engine making 552 horsepower and 354 lb. ft torque, a six-speed sequential gearbox, 48/52 weight distribution. The extensive carbon fiber in the chassis and bodywork keeps the weight down and the LF-A cruises to a 202 mph top speed.
Either what’s old is now new again (trends do tend to repeat) or Honda is just paying homage to it’s racing history or maybe they didn’t have time to build any current project cars, but the Honda booth displayed a number of racing legends.
